Turkish actress Esra Bilgic has officially joined Peshawar Zalmi announced Javed Afridi on social media on Friday.
Javed Afridi shared a picture of Bilgic dressed in the jersey of Zalmi on Twitter and Instagram. “WELCOME ESRA BILGIC @esbilgic TO THE ZALMI FAMILY,” said Afridi on Twitter. Esra Bilgic aka Halime Sultan features in Peshawar Zalmi official anthem for PSL 6. Mahira Khan, Hania Amir, and Ali Rehman Khan have already joined the “Zkingdom”.
The ‘Esra Bilgiç-Peshawar Zalmi’ collaboration has the Zalmi fans super excited, as their favourite ‘Halima Sultan’ will be the brand ambassador.
Amid speculations regarding famous Turkish actress and Ertugrul’s female lead Esra Bilgic joining Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi as the brand ambassador, fans were intrigued to see a video call between Bilgic and Zalmi’s owner Javed Afridi on Thursday.
The internet was abuzz after Afridi shared a screenshot of his video call with the Turkish star on his Instagram story while submitting a caption: “Pleasure catching up with you Esra.”
Esra has gained massive popularity in Pakistan, following her outstanding performance in the Turkish historical drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul, after it started airing in the country.
Besides, cricket buffs are over the moon, as a huge star power has joined the Zalmi family. Moreover, Lollywood superstar Mahira Khan will also reprise her role for the third time as Zalmi’s ambassador, after the successful third and fourth season.
