While attending a press conference on Sunday, in Islamabad, Sheikh Rashid said that India has been involved in funding terrorist groups in Pakistan. The minister claimed that India’s aim is to internally damage our country through its funding and agents at the border. He further added that Pakistan army will protect the country and keep it safe from any attack by the hostile neighbor.
Pakistan Military has said that 87 training camps – 66 in Afghanistan and 21 in India are “training, harboring and launching” terrorists into Pakistan. India dismissed these claims as “fabricated”, however, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and army spokesman Babar Iftikhar presented a list of documents in Saturday’s conference as “irrefutable evidence” that will prove India sponsoring terrorism to destabilize the country and weaken its economic relations with China.
“We have verifiable evidence of terrorists funding by India. Indian ambassadors in Afghanistan have been regularly supervising various terrorist activities,” Babar added.
This evidence also reveals that India’s embassies at along Pakistan borders have become hub of terrorism. The evidence will be presented to the United Nations Security Council and other international bodies to pressure India to stop its terrorist activities inside Pakistan. He concluded by saying that Pakistan knows how to defend itself and must act to prevent India’s terrorism. “We deserve the right to defend ourselves in every possible way,” Qureshi.
